Job Description:

A local food processing company is looking for a Utility Specialist to work their night shift Mon- Fri 2:30pm-1am. Requirements for this position; great communication skills, forklift experience is a plus, detail orientated, knowledge with weight scales and record keeping, a team player and a positive attitude. Valid Idaho drivers license. Lift 50 lbs.

General Responsibilities:

The employee is responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, and inspecting the barrels, taking out trash & waste as per department needed to be discarded outside.
Specific Responsibilities:

Responsible for getting the barrels ready for pre-operational inspection by USDA and QA.
Employees are required to follow direction/orders provided to them by Manager/Leads.
Employee is responsible for taking barrels of waste and trash from inside facility to outside to be discarded.
Employee taking barrels from inside plant to outside will be wrapped on pallet and sprayed with denature.
Employee is responsible to clean the outside facility and notify his/hers Manager/Leads of any changes in operation or repair needed.
Responsible for maintaining bag house – keeping area clean, opening exhaust when needed, keeping piping clear of clogs, notifying Manager/Leads/Maintenance of any changes in operation or repair needed.
All new employees will be trained by the lead in the proper use of forklift and pallet jack.
Able to lift 25-50 pounds continuously through-out the shift.
Know and follow GMPs, SOPs, and Safety (will have training).
Some overtime required.
Perform other tasks as assigned.

Shift Differential Applies of $0.50 for 40 Hrs.
