  • 40 plus hours
  • Monday–Friday (weekends as needed)
  • Pay-rates: Bilingual Receptionist — $15; Centrifuge Service Technicians — $20–23

Centrifuge Service Technician

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Responsible for overseeing the mechanical and electrical processes
  • Installs, calibrates, services, repairs, and applies knowledge and experience to troubleshooting situations
  • Must be available to assist the Solids Control Technicians for troubleshooting and installations
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, and climb for long periods of time
  • Collect samples and perform routine and advanced chemical and physical tests monitoring for changing conditions
  • Log test results, meter and feed readings, flow rates, maintenance, and other data; prepare daily and periodic reports
  • Inspect pumps, motors, chemical feeders, level controls, and other equipment; make adjustments and emergency repairs on plant equipment as needed including dryers, centrifuges, vacuums, screw conveyors, and pumps
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues, perform equipment maintenance, and order needed equipment and supplies

Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Ability to effectively run, repair, maintain, and service equipment as needed
  • Willing to work outside in extreme weather conditions for up to 12+ hours/day
  • Able to troubleshoot and repair electrical issues
  • Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Ability to use hand and power tools
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment failure to make repairs
  • Skill in equipment installations
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail; able to work independently and in teams
  • Ability to travel to various service locations
  • Specific vision abilities required: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment

Bilingual Receptionist

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests; follow procedures and direct visitors appropriately
  • Answer a multi-line telephone system; screen/transfer calls
  • Maintain a clean, professional reception area
  • Sort, distribute, and manage incoming/outgoing mail for multiple staff
  • Data entry and electronic file management
  • Collect payments from customers
  • Assist with accounts management
  • Other administrative support tasks as assigned

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related business software; multi-line phone systems; scanners; general office equipment
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Professional, friendly telephone etiquette
  • Knowledge of general office practices, procedures, and equipment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Spanish bilingual speaker
  • Accounts receivable experience preferred

Qualifications

  • Bilingual Spanish speaker
  • Strong data entry skills
  • Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Minimum 2 years of recent work experience in a similar position
