Personnel Plus is NOW HIRING Dietary Aides for the State Veterans Home in Boise, ID
- Proof of vaccination is required
- Full time, 40 hours per week
- $14.00-$15.00 p/h to start
- Two shifts are available between the hours of 6 am – 8 pm

Duties:
- Assist in food preparation for individuals in the Department of Veterans Services Facility.
- This position will work closely with Dietitians and Chefs to ensure patients and residents receive healthy meals based on their specific diet plans
- Preparing meals, snacks, and beverages following specific procedures
- Serving meals, ensuring food safety and hygiene procedures are followed at all times
- Taking inventory of kitchen supplies and food items
- Staying current on the individual procedures and protocols for their facilities, including state-specified rules and regulations
- Setting up and taking down dining areas and assisting with kitchen maintenance and general cleaning
Requirements:Â
- Excellent customer service
- General knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety practices- will train!
- Ability to clean and sanitize kitchen areas
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. at waist level
- Prefer general experience with operating and cleaning of commercial-grade dishwashers, food slicers, processors, choppers, blenders, and mixers- NOT required, will train!
- Ability to pass the Division’s Criminal History and Background Check requirement with full clearance
