Hogger Operator

Our client is seeking to hire potato truckloaders (hoggers) for a local company.  This can be a perfect full-time employment opportunity.  No experience is required!! Willing to train the right candidate. The company offers Competitive Pay benefits including major medical, vision, dental, and paid vacation.

Job Description:

  • The employee will be operating the hogger (power auger)
  • They will be operating the machinery properly and ensuring potatoes are loaded safely into the back of trucks with minimal damage to products.
  • Employees will need to have a mechanical background as you will also do minor fixes on machinery when it needs it such as: gearing, belts, and wiring faults.

Requirements:

  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Able to work long hours and opportunity for OT.
  • Have your own reliable transportation to the job site.
  • Able to work some weekends.
  • Days and night shifts are available.
  • May require some lifting 25+lbs.
