Now accepting applications for a temp to hire mechanic position at a local auto body shop in Boise.
Schedule: Monday-Thursday 8am- 5pm, Friday 8am- 3 pm. NO WEEKENDS!
Duties including but not limited to:
- Performing basic duties of a mechanic
- Operating standard tools
- Willing to train and teach to an extent
Required Skills and Abilities:
Must have experience working in a shop beyond personal vehicle maintenance, and applicant needs to be able to step in to help when needed. Applicant must also have a thorough knowledge of methods, materials, tools and standard practices of the automotive mechanic’s trade. Experience with auto electrical system diagnosis and repair is a plus, but not required.
Requirements:
- Must have own tools (basic/entry mechanics tool set and air rachet)
- Good attitude
- ASE certifications preferred
- Able to lift 35-40 lbs. regularly, 50 lbs. max
- Must be a team player with honesty and integrity
