Personnel Plus is looking for an individual to fill a Process Technician position in Jerome, ID.


  • Identifying and monitoring production machine parameters.
  • Monitoring and testing product/batch quality.
  • Ensuring production processes run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Identifying machine faults and production rate errors.
  • Maintaining production logbooks.
  • Reporting faults and breakdowns to supervisors and maintenance personnel.
  • Ensuring a clean and safe production area.
  • Ensuring all personnel adhere to safety protocols.
  • Identifying areas of production that can be improved or increased.
  • Ensuring proper execution of product Food Safety and Quality testing and reporting.
  • Ensuring day-to-day implementation of HACCP, QMS, and other supporting pre-requisite programs to meet the SQF Food Safety standards.
  • Ensuring compliance with FDA/USDA regulations.
  • Ensure proper Product Specification management and Document Control management are followed.


  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering preferred
  • 3+ years’ experience as a process technician
  • Excellent analytical and observational skills
  • Sound knowledge of industrial machines and mechanical processes
  • Advanced report-writing skills
  • Comfortable working in a noisy environment
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
