Our client needs employees for the packaging dept and sorters, at our Burley local potato plant.
Job Description packaging:
  • Employees will be building totes to receive products, taking the tote off the pallet, folding flaps, taping shut, and placing a liner into the totes.
  • The employee will be helping to build boxes for packaging- such as hand-building them or placing on the machine to be taped/built.
  • Will assist with rework in the instance that the product needs to be completed. During rework, you will be tearing out packaged products into totes, and breaking down boxes. This position does not allow sitting and will be reaching above shoulder level.

Job Description Sortes:

The employee will sit on either side of the trim table or rock belt and remove any foreign materials or green/rotten potatoes. The employee will be using a potato knife to cut out any defects or remove the entire potato. You will be required to stand for long periods, some stools are available but not for extended periods.

Rotating Schedule:
Day shift shift 7 am-7 pm
2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on
2 days off, 2 days on & 3 days off
Pay:
$13/hr
Requirements:
Applicants must be able to:
  • stands for extended periods of time
  • lifts at least 20 lbs
