Accounting Assistant – Plastics Fabrication – Boise
Personnel Plus, Inc. is NOW HIRING an Accounting Assistant in Boise, Idaho!
Our client, a growing plastics fabrication and manufacturing company, is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to support daily accounting and administrative operations. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, staying organized, and supporting a busy manufacturing environment.
Pay and Schedule: $18.00–$22.00 per hour DOE, Monday–Friday, 7:30 am – 4:30 pm
What you’ll do:
- Assist with daily accounting and bookkeeping functions
- Process invoices, purchase orders, and payments
- Enter and maintain accurate financial data
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconcile invoices, receipts, and account statements
- Prepare and process customer invoices
- Assist with collections and customer account follow-up
- Maintain organized accounting records and documentation
- Assist with bank and account reconciliations
- Review transactions for accuracy and proper coding
- Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal departments regarding billing and payments
- Provide administrative support to the accounting department
- Assist with reporting, filing, and other accounting-related projects as needed
What you’ll need:
- Previous accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to handle confidential financial information professionally
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Manufacturing or plastics industry experience is a plus
- Must be able to pass a background check and a be drug free
