Baling Twine Production – Jerome
Personnel Plus is NOW HIRING Baling Twine Production in Jerome
- Mon-Fri 6am-6pm
- Day shifts $18
- 40+ hours a week
Key Responsibilities
- Machine Operation: Start, stop, and run industrial twisting and winding equipment safely to hit production goals.
- Threading and Creeling: Feed raw fiber strands, yarn, or tape through rollers, guides, and spindles. Tie or splice broken ends quickly to minimize downtime.
- Quality Control: Check twine periodically for proper thickness, strength, and consistent twist counts. Adjust tension screws or settings when specs drift.
- Material Handling: Replace empty supply packages with full ones. Doff finished spools or coils of twine and prepare them for packaging or baling.
- Maintenance & Safety: Clean lint, dust, or residue from machines using air hoses and tools. Report mechanical failures to maintenance or supervisors.
Requirements:
- Perform tasks with sound judgement to overcome challenges
- Work safely while exposed to moving mechanical parts
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Safely lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- Pass a background check/Be drug free
- Must have at least GED or High School Diploma
