Pay $20-$30 per hour, DOE
Day shift hours, Monday-Friday.

Duties

Set up, program, and operate 2500SY CNC lathes (Sub-Spindle, Y-Axis, and Live Tooling)
Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs to produce quality machined parts
Program using GibbsCAM
Operate and transition between multiple machines while maintaining production efficiency
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and hand-drawn sketches
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools and gauges to ensure compliance with blueprint specifications
Maintain quality standards while meeting production schedules and efficiency goals
Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Attend work, meetings, and scheduled appointments on time
Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth production operations
Assist with other machining and manufacturing duties as assigned

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of CNC programming experience-Preferred
Previous experience in a job shop manufacturing environment
Experience setting up and operating 2500SY CNC machines with Sub-Spindle, Y-Axis, and Live Tooling Preferred
Multi-axis CNC programming experience Preferred
Experience using GibbsCAM Preferred
Experience with PC-DMIS is a plus
Strong understanding of manufacturing methods, fixturing, machining techniques, and related equipment
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions
Ability to inspect precision machined parts using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tools
Basic math skills and strong mechanical aptitude
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Highly organized and self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing production demands
Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
