Entry-Level Sheet Metal Fabricator -Boise

Personnel Plus, Inc. is now hiring an Entry-Level Sheet Metal Fabricator in Boise, Idaho

Our client, a local sheet metal fabrication shop, is seeking a dependable individual to learn how to fabricate HVAC pipes and fittings. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position with paid, on-the-job training. No experience is required—we are willing to train someone eager to learn with a strong work ethic.

Pay and schedule: $18–$20/hour to start. Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

What you’ll do:

  • Learn to fabricate HVAC pipes and fittings from various sheet metals
  • Learn spot welding, cutting, forming, and bending techniques
  • Troubleshoot issues involving sheet metal, tools, and equipment
  • Follow OSHA guidelines and workplace safety procedures
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

What you’ll need:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to stand and move for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • A teachable attitude and strong work ethic
  • Ability to communicate and work well with a team
  • Ability to pass a drug screening
