Food Service Assistant – Nampa

Personnel Plus is now hiring for a Food Service Assistant in Nampa, ID

Our client is looking for dependable and hardworking Food Service Assistant to assist with daily food truck operations for a temporary seasonal position. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced food service environment, assisting with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting daily operations.

Pay and Schedule:  $15 per hour. Flexible scheduling; shifts ranging from 2 to 8 hours per day.

Operating Hours: Approximately 11:00 AM–7:00 PM.

Seasonal Position: Running April 1 through December 31.

What you’ll do:

  • Assist with food preparation and stocking supplies.
  • Wash dishes and maintain clean food preparation areas.
  • Sweep, mop, and keep the work area clean and organized.
  • Help with opening and closing duties.
  • Assist with general food truck operations as needed.
  • Follow proper food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Work cooperatively with other team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Assist with cleaning, stocking, and preparing the truck before opening and after closing.
  • Any other duties as assigned

What you’ll need:

  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
  • Flexible availability to accommodate varying shift lengths and schedules.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks, including standing, bending, and lifting.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds when needed.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced food service environment.
  • Have strong teamwork, reliability, and positive attitude.
  • Appropriate work attire and closed-toe shoes are required
