Group Fitness Instructor- Nampa

Personnel Plus is now hiring a Group Fitness Instructor in Nampa, ID

A local recreation center is seeking an engaging, energetic, and dependable Group Fitness Instructor to lead classes and create a positive experience for members. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about Group Fitness, enjoys connecting with others, and is excited to continue learning and growing as an instructor.

Pay and Schedule: Very part-time, typically 1-5 hours per week. Additional unpaid time at home may be needed to prepare for classes. $15-21

What you’ll do:

Lead Group Fitness classes in a fun, welcoming, and engaging environment.
Connect with participants and help create a positive experience for members.
Prepare for classes and ensure instruction is organized and effective.
Work collaboratively with other instructors and staff.
Be receptive to feedback, mentoring, and ongoing professional development.
Communicate promptly and professionally through calls, texts, and emails.
Follow through on assigned responsibilities and commitments.
Maintain a safe and positive environment for all participants.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

What you’ll need:

Passion for Group Fitness and experience attending Group Fitness classes; previous Group Fitness instruction experience is a plus.
Engaging, energetic personality with the ability to connect well with others.
Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
Strong communication skills and responsiveness to calls, texts, and emails.
Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and work collaboratively with other instructors.
Willing to obtain a nationally recognized Group Fitness Instructor certification within 4 months of hire. ACE certification is preferred.
Willing to obtain an Adult CPR certification, or already hold one. Hands-on CPR training is required.
Interested in a very part-time position and willing to commit to the role long-term.
Preferably located in Nampa or a neighboring community. Candidates living more than approximately 20 minutes from the REC may not be considered due to the long-term commitment required for instructor training.
