Mattress Delivery Driver & Delivery Assistant – Boise

Personnel Plus, Inc. is now hiring a Mattress Delivery Driver and Delivery Assistant in Boise, Idaho!

Our client is seeking dependable, customer-focused individuals to assist with mattress deliveries. We are hiring one Delivery Van Driver and one Delivery Assistant to work together to deliver mattresses to customers’ homes. Pay and schedule: Delivery Van Driver: $20.00 P/H & Delivery Assistant: $17.00 P/H. Approximately 25–30 hours per week, with the potential to work up to 40 hours per week during busy periods. Working three days per week — currently Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday.

What you’ll do:

Delivery Van Driver

  • Safely operate a delivery van to transport mattresses and related products to customers.
  • Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules.
  • Load, unload, and secure mattresses and other merchandise for transport.
  • Work with the Delivery Assistant to complete deliveries efficiently and safely.
  • Deliver products to customers’ homes and provide courteous, professional customer service.
  • Verify delivery orders and ensure the correct items are delivered.
  • Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle.
  • Follow all traffic laws and company safety procedures.

Delivery Assistant

  • Assist the driver with loading and unloading mattresses and related merchandise.
  • Help transport mattresses into customers’ homes and designated delivery areas.
  • Safely lift, carry, and maneuver bulky items with a delivery partner.
  • Help protect customers’ homes and merchandise during deliveries.
  • Confirm delivery items and assist with organizing the delivery van.
  • Provide friendly, professional customer service.
  • Keep the delivery vehicle and work areas clean and organized.
  • Follow safe lifting practices and company procedures.

What you’ll need:

  • Dependable attendance and punctuality.
  • A positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a two-person delivery team.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver mattresses and other bulky items.
  • Ability to perform physical work, including frequent bending, lifting, and standing.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to work Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
  • Delivery Van Driver: Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
  • Previous delivery, warehouse, moving, or customer service experience is a plus.
