Packer Material Handler – Jerome

Personnel Plus Inc, Twin Falls is hiring for Packer Material Handlers in Jerome, Idaho.

This position is responsible for all aspects of packing finished plastic bags from the bag line into cartons and prepares them for shipping

 

Pay and Schedule:

  • Rotating 12-hour shifts!
  • Bi Monthly rotating days/ night shifts
  • Day shift $16.50/hour
  • Night shift $18.50/hour
  • 40+ hours a week

What you’ll do:

  • Understand and follow all JSA’s and safety procedures/policies
  • Forms cartons and applies proper box label
  • Constantly inspects finished product before it is packed into carton and notifies bag line operator of quality issues
  • Weighs and numbers cases, fills out proper documentation
  • Stacks finished product on pallet evenly and correctly
  • Assists Converting Operator in all roll changes
  • Checks all safety guards are in place and properly working at their station
  • Performs quality checks and completes related documentation
  • Maintains a clean and safe work area
  • Assists Converting Operator as assigned

What you’ll need:

  • Through shift, ability to maintain prolonged standing/walking; frequent pushing/pulling, climbing, bending/kneeling, reaching, crawling, repetitive motions, and lifting/carrying a range from 10 lbs. up to 100 lbs.
  • Ability to pass a background check and be drug free
  • Must have at least GED or High School Diploma
  • Ability to maintain balance while performing tasks
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the job
  • Work overtime as required
