Parking Compliance Officer

Personnel Plus is NOW HIRING for a Parking Compliance Officer in Caldwell, ID

  • Monday-Friday
  • 8am-5pm
  • Temporary
  • 2 weeks
  • $20 per hour

Duties:

  • Patrol assigned downtown areas on foot or by bicycle.
  • Enforce city parking ordinances and regulations.
  • Issue parking warnings and citations when appropriate.
  • Respond to parking complaints and requests for service.
  • Educate the public regarding parking rules, permits, and citation procedures.
  • Review and process contested parking citations.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation.
  • Coordinate with police, code enforcement, and other city departments as needed.
  • Operate handheld devices, computers, and parking enforcement software.
  • Collect and document parking-related information accurately.
  • Attend meetings and participate in ongoing training.
  • Any other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Second interview with client
  • Valid Idaho Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
  • Previous customer service, code enforcement, parking enforcement, or public-facing experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to interpret and enforce city ordinances and policies.
  • Basic computer and data entry skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain professionalism during difficult interactions.
  • Ability to walk, stand, patrol, and ride a bicycle for extended periods.
