Temporary Welder

Personnel Plus, Burley is seeking a reliable and motivated Welder for a temporary assignment beginning July 6th. This position is ideal for candidates with hands-on welding experience who are committed to quality workmanship and workplace safety. This work will take place in a food processing facility.

Schedule

  • Monday – Friday, 7 AM – 3:30 PM
  • Overtime required as needed
  • Anticipated duration: 3 weeks to 1 month
  • July 1st – Assignment End

Responsibilities

  • Perform TIG welding and fabrication on stainless steel materials
  • Changing motors, conveyors, bearings, and maintain rollers
  • Read and follow work instructions and specifications
  • Assist with equipment maintenance and shop projects as needed
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Follow all company safety procedures and policies
  • Complete other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must be able to pass a weld test
  • Experience with TIG welding required
  • Experience with welding stainless steel required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and team lift heavier materials when necessary
  • Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to work around welding fumes, sparks, loud noise, and bright light while wearing proper PPE
  • Ability to stand for extended periods (8+ hour shifts)
  • Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, and reach overhead regularly
  • Comfortable working in shop environments and varying temperatures
  • Steel-toed boots required for this job
  • Must have own welding hood and PPE
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen

Compensation

  • Pay is $20.00 + DOE (Depending on Experience)
