Voter Services Representative – Boise

Personnel Plus, Inc. is now hiring for Voter Services Representatives in Boise, Idaho

Our client, Ada County Elections, is seeking dependable and customer-focused individuals to assist with election services. This is a temporary assignment during election season starting October 12th and is a great opportunity to work with the County!

Pay and schedule: $14.00/hour. Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Temporary election assignment. May require extended hours, evenings, weekends, and overtime during election periods.

What you’ll do:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to voters before and on Election Day
  • Provide election information and directions to polling locations
  • Answer voter questions in person and by phone in a friendly and professional manner
  • Learn and navigate the voter registration system, Elections website, and polling place locator
  • Accurately and efficiently enter voter registration applications
  • Follow Idaho election laws and established election procedures
  • Assist with general office duties, including petition signature verification
  • Work cooperatively with election staff during high-demand periods
  • Assist with other office tasks as needed
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

What you’ll need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Friendly, professional, and courteous attitude
  • Ability to learn and navigate voter registration systems and online resources
  • Accurate data-entry skills and strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of, or ability to learn, Idaho election laws and procedures
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to interact professionally with the public in person and by phone
  • Ability to work extended periods sitting, standing, and using a computer
  • Availability to work long hours, evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed during election periods
  • Ability to work at the Ada County Elections Office and related locations
