Personnel Plus, Inc., BOISE, is NOW HIRING an Access Van Driver!

  • IMMEDIATE HIRE!
  • Monday–Friday
  • Shifts may begin as early as 6:00 a.m. and end as late as 7:30 p.m.
  • Starting pay: $17.65 per hour
  • Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Occasional overtime may be required

Duties

  • Safely transport passengers to scheduled destinations using a wheelchair-accessible van
  • Assist passengers with safely entering and exiting the vehicle
  • Operate wheelchair lifts and other accessibility equipment
  • Secure wheelchairs, mobility devices, and personal belongings before travel
  • Prioritize the safety, comfort, and well-being of all passengers
  • Communicate professionally and courteously with passengers regarding their transportation needs
  • Treat every passenger with dignity, respect, and compassion
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism during all passenger interactions
  • Operate the vehicle in compliance with all Idaho traffic laws and company safety standards
  • Remain alert to changing road conditions and potential hazards
  • Follow assigned routes and schedules while maintaining reliable service
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Promptly report vehicle maintenance or safety concerns
  • Maintain accurate trip records, passenger documentation, and required paperwork
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Valid Idaho driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Must be at least 21 years of age due to insurance requirements
  • Patient, dependable, and compassionate
  • Ability to work respectfully with individuals of all abilities
  • Strong commitment to safety and customer service
  • Ability to safely lift and move up to 35 pounds
  • Must pass a background check
  • Must be able to pass DOT drug screening
