  • Excellent opportunity with the County Highway District
  • On-the-job training provided
  • Monday-Thursday, 7 am – 5:30 pm
  • $19.00 p/h

Chip Seal Crew:

  • Set up and tear down traffic control
  • Rake and shovel materials to ensure proper coverage at edges, corners, and around sewer access points
  • Assist with roller operation when needed
  • Help move vehicles to keep work progressing
  • Troubleshoot and repair minor equipment issues when possible
  • Walk up to 10 miles per day in moving traffic and Right-of-Way areas
  • Work safely around construction equipment such as dump trucks and chip spreaders
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Be drug-free
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
  • Able to safely lift and move up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Follow processes and procedures
  • Adhere to all safety policies and regulations
  • Operate vehicles and equipment in a safe and professional manner
  • Work 10-hour shifts outdoors in all weather conditions
