Access Van Driver – Meridian
Personnel Plus, Inc. is now hiring an Access Van Driver in Meridian, Idaho.
Our client, a local transportation provider, is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Access Van Driver to provide safe, reliable transportation for passengers with mobility needs throughout the Treasure Valley. This is a full-time opportunity offering paid training and immediate hire.
Pay and schedule: $17.43 an hour. Monday–Friday, as early as 6 am and as late as 7:30 pm, with occasional overtime as needed.
What you’ll do:
- Safely transport passengers to scheduled appointments and destinations
- Assist passengers with boarding, exiting, and securing mobility devices
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate trip logs and required transportation documentation
- Follow assigned routes and schedules while providing excellent customer service
- Ensure passenger safety and comply with all traffic laws and company policies
- Keep the vehicle clean, fueled, and in good operating condition
- Report vehicle maintenance needs or safety concerns promptly
- Perform other related duties as assigned
What you’ll need:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to safely operate a passenger access van
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to assist passengers with mobility needs and lift or maneuver mobility equipment as needed
- Dependable attendance and strong time-management skills
- Ability to pass a drug screening and background check
