Poultry Processing Line Worker

  • Monday – Friday
  • April-November
  • Day shift 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
  • $16 
  • No experience needed!

Duties:

  • Slaughter poultry according to federal regulations regarding the humane treatment of livestock
  • Work with production staff to ensure that all poultry is processed within federal regulations
  • Cutting up poultry per customer requests
  • Packing products for shipments
  • Handle related byproducts such as skin, bones, organs, blood, etc.
  • Follow safety regulations to protect against contamination or injury while working with food products
  • Roll tubs of raw material in refrigerated areas until they are needed for further processing
  • Work with a variety of equipment such as air compressed tools, knives and vacuums.
  • Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils after processing is completed
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Ability to stand 100% of the shift and work in a steady pace.
  • Fast hand and arm movement to keep up with the production line
  • Repetitive hand and arm movements
  • Work in a cool environment around 60 degrees for the entire shift
  • Excellent attention to detail for product inspection and quality assurance
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Must be 18+ years of age
  • Must be drug free
