Personnel Plus is now hiring Van Access Drivers in Nampa, ID

We are seeking a dependable and responsible Access Van Driver to safely transport individuals to and from various destinations. This position involves operating a specially equipped van and assisting passengers with mobility needs, including safely entering and exiting the vehicle and securing wheelchairs.

Pay and Schedule: $15 P/H| Monday-Friday| TTH | 2 shifts available

  • Full-Time-10am-6:30pm
  • Part-Time -2:30pm-6:30pm

What you’ll do:

  • Safely transport individuals to various destinations using a specially equipped van.
  • Assist passengers with entering and exiting the vehicle.
  • Safely operate wheelchair lifts and other accessibility equipment.
  • Secure wheelchairs and personal belongings properly within the van.
  • Ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of all passengers.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with passengers.
  • Respect passenger privacy and dignity at all times.
  • Follow designated routes, schedules, and all traffic and safety regulations.
  • Maintain awareness of road conditions and potential hazards.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Immediately report mechanical issues or safety concerns.
  • Maintain accurate trip logs, passenger information, and required paperwork.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What you’ll need:

  • Must have a valid Idaho Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age for insurance purposes.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • Must be drug-free and able to pass a drug screening.
  • Must be able to pass a 35-lb physical assessment.
  • Must be able to stand, bend, twist, lift, and perform physical activities as needed.
  • Must be dependable, punctual, and professional.
  • Must have good communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to assist individuals with mobility needs in a safe and respectful
