Along with our proprietary screening process through our pool of selected candidates for a specific job, finding eligible candidates requires a combination of having a detailed job description, order-knowing exactly what is to be expected, and conducting our thorough interviews with our candidates. As well as having appropriate background information and knowledge of previous work experience/training and/or interests
Yes. You will need to set up an account so we will have your information on file. We also need to be able to invoice you, which can be accessed online through our VMS (Vendor Management System), convey various forms of information, understand who in your company has the authority to order employees, pay bills, and determine your specific job site information and billing requirements.
We try to exhaust all resources to get jobs filled as soon as possible, but there are different factors that go into filling a request. For an already existing Client, Job Orders can take as little as a day to a couple of weeks+ to fill. For a new Client, it usually requires more time to process the job description information and reference checks and to be able to start the screening and recruitment process for a position. Exceptions can be made to expedite the process for new Clients needing employees ASAP.
We mainly service companies but also service private individuals. Pre-payment may be required for a smaller, short-term job assignment.
You may hire our placed employees after they have worked the number of paid hours pre-determined in our agreement before rollover. This allows you to test-run employees before fully committing them to your company's payroll/benefits. You will need to inform us of your intention before offering our employee a position (your account must be paid in full) and notify us when you actually put him/her on your payroll. We do offer advanced placement buy-outs on special requests.
We can find a way to work with almost any business. We may need a deposit or pre-payments in advance but we can usually find a way to solve the problem.
The restrictions are listed in our service agreement. Most of the restrictions are to ensure the safety of our employees and require compliance with state and federal laws. Some of the restrictions may be waived on a case-by-case basis if our management team is satisfied that the proper safeguards are in place and our employee(s) have the skill, training, and equipment to complete the job safely.
A large portion of our cost comes from workers' compensation insurance, as well as FUTA, and SUTA. Due to this, we must complete a job order that includes a detailed job description so that we can properly classify the position and assign the billed rate. The bill rate is added to the desired hourly pay rate.
We prefer payment by cash, company check, or ACH (Direct Deposit from your bank account), but we do accept credit cards for billings with a small 3% convenience fee. Personnel Plus can set you up on a customized billing schedule but normally will offer online pre-pay and bill-pay services in our VMS (Vendor Management System).
Personnel Plus, Inc. will invoice you at the end of the pay-period that is discussed during our on-boarding you as a client, it could be weekly, biweekly, etc. You will receive an invoice reflecting the hours worked by our employees at your job site or facility. A copy of the paper time card(s) will accompany the invoice verifying the correct hours compared to your original copy.
Personnel Plus, Inc. is the employer of record, and as such is responsible for payment of the placed employees’ wages, withholding taxes, workers compensation, and mandated affordable care insurance. Each of our employees will arrive at your job site with a paper time card.
We offer paper time cards and accept them via delivery by hand from employees, fax, or email, text, or upload to our offices. If you are utilizing multiple employees, we can offer group time cards and free time clock installation with digital timekeeping features including online approval and verification of hours through our proprietary VMS (Vendor Management System). We also offer free check delivery to the job site, if your employees do not opt for direct deposit or picking up their check during our business hours.
You or your designated supervisors should tally the correct hours, and sign the paper time card. We also offer digital timekeeping and approval and verification online through the VMS (Vendor Management System). We pay our employees based on the approved paper time card they bring in to us. If using several Personnel Plus, Inc. employees we can arrange for group time cards, time-clock appliance(s), or for the time to be called, faxed, emailed, text messaged, or uploaded to our offices.
The more notice we have the more selective we can be in filling your needs. However, we understand that sometimes you need workers ASAP! We will do our very best to get you the people you need when you need them! We will keep you informed of our progress and answer you truthfully.
There is no limit to the number of employees you may order, but this may depend on your credit and willingness to offer other payment methods. Our contract for services is encompassed in our company policies and procedures of which you agree to when authorizing Personnel Plus to pay the approved timecard of the placed employee(s).
We will present you with a service agreement that encompasses our terms and conditions and outlines conditions regarding the use of our employees and services. The contractual agreement is effective when you sign our timecard(s) and authorize us to pay for the services of the placed employee of which you agree to our billing and payment terms.
If you are not satisfied with one of our employees or have any reservations or concerns, call our office. Normally if they are incompatible and you release an employee assigned to you within the first four hours of his/her arrival, there will be no charge for his/her time. It is required that you inform us that you are releasing one of our employees and inform us of your dissatisfaction. We will inform the employee of their termination and promptly begin replacement for a better-fit candidate unless otherwise specified.
