CDL-A Doubles and Triples
Qualifications
- Class A CDL, Doubles and Triples, prefer Hazmat (though not required)
- Should have enough geographical knowledge to be able to read and understand maps, locations and road signs
- Should possess some mechanical knowledge to be able to repair minor vehicle issues while on the road
- Should be aware of public safety and security measures and various policies that must be adhered to while driving
- One to two years of Ag experience
Responsibilities
- Delivers livestock feed and materials to Client customers complying with all federal, state and local laws.
- Drives company vehicle to deliver feed and other supplies to customer’s home or place of business
- Complies with all federal, state and local laws
- Verifies order details prior to delivery and records all pertinent delivery information as needed for accurate tracking
- Upon delivery scales in and verifies order details and obtains customer signature on company copy of delivery ticket
- Collects and organizes required paperwork for delivery and transfer activity, leaves copy of scale ticket and delivery ticket with customer
- Treats all customers with courtesy and respect
- Informs supervisor of any customer complaints or requests in a timely fashion
- Listens and resolves service complaints
- Collects or picks up empty containers from delivery sites as directed
- Loads vehicle safely and accurately
- Maintains the cleanliness and appearance of the inside and outside of delivery vehicles
- Performs routine safety check on vehicles according to company guidelines
- Assists in yard and warehouse with stocking, loading and organizing of materials
- Complies with all company safety standards
- Attends all company meetings and training sessions
- Other duties as assigned
