Cylinder Maintenance Technician $17.50 p/h to start

Personnel Plus, Inc. is NOW HIRING a Cylinder Maintenance Technician!

 

  • Monday-Friday, 7 am – 4 pm
  • $17.50 p/h per hour to start
  • East Boise work location
  • Temp-to-hire
  • Excellent benefits package upon rollover with an ESOP company!

DUTIES:

  • Perform tasks related to the requalification, painting, and repair of refillable cylinders
  • Load and unload trucks or pallets with cylinders to test, and load completed cylinders
  • Perform initial visual inspection on cylinders; identify contents before removing labels
  • Shot blast cylinders and transport to next work station
  • Requalify acetylene cylinders according to established procedures
  • Repair and re-valve cylinders when necessary, according to established procedures
  • Paint cylinders when necessary, according to established procedures
  • Other tasks as assigned or necessary

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good organizational skills
  • Highly attentive to detail, keep neat and accurate records
  • Perform basic mathematical calculations
  • Ability to work with various hand tools and mechanical equipment
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Basic knowledge of cylinders and gases is highly preferred
  • Able to pass a background check
  • Be drug-free
