Our client is looking for a full-time candidate who would like to start a new career with the irrigation district and will start as a ditch rider

Seasonal Position

March to May

7:30 am-4 pm Monday- Friday, some weekends

Qualifications

  • Beneficial if resides in the Burley-Declo area
  • Must be a self-starter, punctual, honest, and hardworking
  • Must be detail-oriented, patient, reliable, and possess good communication skills
  • High School graduate or completed GED
  • Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Complete pre-employment drug screening and background check
  • Must be able to perform physically demanding labor as needed

Job description

Job Requirements:

• Must have basic computer Knowledge
• Description of Duties:
• Maintain the assigned area of the canal system (approximately 150 E to 550 E), including monitoring water delivery, burning ditches, and weed control
