Full-time Quality Assurance Technician $18.00 p/h – Boise, ID

  • Monday-Friday, 7:30 am – 4:30 pm with occasional overtime
  • Temp-to-hire
  • $18.00 p/h
  • Excellent Opportunity to work with a local manufacturer of custom plastic fabricated equipment

 

Duties:

  • Responsible for IPQA and final quality control of machined and fabricated components to ensure they meet all customer requirements
  • Gathering QC data for creating/submitting FAI’s
  • Maintaining company compliance to ISO 9001 quality management system
  • Working with employees, vendors and customers via phone, email and automated websites
  • Reading, understanding and fulfilling all customer packaging requirements upon final QC approval

 

Requirements:

  • Previous quality assurance experience and knowledge of ISO 9001 and precise measuring equipment
  • Knowledge of fluid processing products such as tubing, pipe, valves and fittings is helpful
  • Knowledge of precision measuring devices such as CMM, height gauge, profilometer, calipers, etc.
  • Knowledge of GD&T is a plus
  • Be able to work well with customers, suppliers and other staff members
  • Must be detail oriented
  • The ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Must have previous experience with Windows, all Microsoft Suite products
  • Knowledge of SolidWorks’ and QuickBooks is a plus
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
