Personnel Plus, Inc. is NOW HIRING a Pre-Installer in Boise, ID!

  • Full-time, day shift hours
  • Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 4 pm & Fridays, 7 am – 11 am
  • Summertime hours are Monday-Thursday, 6 am – 4:30 pm
  • $25.00 p/h DOE!

DUTIES:

  • Receives hardware from the warehouse for the specific project
  • Read and understand hardware instructions and templates
  • Install hardware on wood doors before delivery to the job site, i.e., locks, closers, exit devices, in the pre-install/warehouse location
  • Work with the Pre-install PM for coordination
  • Read and understand door/hardware schedules
  • Read and understand architectural floor plans
  • Field work as needed- install doors in the field
  • Other duties and responsibilities, as needed

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5-7 years of installing door hardware is preferred, but not required
  • Work well with others or in a team environment
  • Understand and have core values- Integrity, Respect, Excellence & Collaboration
  • Ability to take direction from management
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Industry knowledge of preps and hardware
  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
  • Ability to use the necessary tools for the pre-install shop, such as hand and power tools
  • Forklift certification (desired, not mandatory at hire)
  • Regular travel to job sites, as needed
  • Be drug-free
  • Pass a background check
